Game day means … cinnamon rolls?

Who are we to argue. I mean, after all, they are cinnamon rolls. And she is Travis Kelce’s mom.

Team Mom to an entire region, Donna Kelce, took to Instagram Sunday to give us all a breakfast recommendation.

“… stop by Hemma Hemma at 71st & Wornall for breakfast or lunch… you will love the cinnamon rolls,” she wrote to her 676,000 followers.

Here’s the thing: I try to eat healthy in the mornings. Fresh fruit. Granola and yogurt. You know, so I can spend the rest of my day undoing all of those healthy choices with fries and BBQ.

In this case, though, who am I to question the sage advice of one of the nation’s most trusted moms?

Kansas City Star’s Pete Grathoff wrote a piece on Mama Kelce’s recommendation. In it, he quoted Hemma Hemma chef Ashley Bare, whose concept for the establishment involves using high quality ingredients to “help busy people feed themselves.”

Now all we need is Taylor Swift’s recommendations for cocktails spots.
